Reversing Diabetes

by Chris Jones on October 23, 2009

It is no longer true that the most common form of diabetes has to be a life sentence with the possibility of blindness, kidney failure and risk of limb loss. There is now clear evidence that Type 2 diabetes can be reversed and reversed quickly by natural means, without resorting to any medications. This is most graphically illustrated in the film “Simply Raw” which chronicles the progress of six Americans with diabetes who undergo a radical change their diet and lifestyle over a 30-day period under medical supervision. They switched from the typical American diet of meat, dairy, sugar, fast food, processed food, caffeine, soda and even cooked food to a completely vegan diet of raw organic fruits and vegetables. They also exercised regularly and spent time together in group support as they went through the detoxification and emotional changes brought about by their experience. Their blood sugar levels normalized and at the end of the course they were pronounced free from diabetes. This trailer summarizes their progress and the eventual triumph for those who completed the course.
